How does Pay2Search work?
Pay2Search will automatically launch your Chrome browser and navigate to Google. From there it will perform searches to manually verified websites in our network (Absolutely no NSFW/Malware/downloadable content websites). This process does not open or close any other programs other than Chrome and does not have the ability to see what other programs or browsers are open. Additionally to reiterate, the way the program is coded we’re simply navigating to the search page, identifying the search box, typing in said search term, and visiting the website. The program doesn’t have access to see what chrome extensions you have, what information is saved within chrome or anything, in actuality the program is quite simple and comparable to a sort of simple autoclicker/autotyper with a bit of extra code to identify text boxes.

Technically yes, anything you search or visit on the internet can influence the ads you are served. Our service only provides about 10-20 searches a day so it's highly unlikely to completely change the kinds of ads you're receiving. With this being said, you can turn off personalized ads in your
Google adcenter to turn off google serving you suggested ads altogether.

Will this slow down my computer?
The short answer is no, there should be no noticeable impact on your computer. We’ve personally had no user complaints regarding this but it’s always suggested to open up a task manager to check the usage for yourself.
How many searches a day will I do?
The amount of searches a day can vary between 10-25. All searches will be of manually vetted websites such as cooking blogs, and local businesses.
Can someone access my PC through the program?
Absolutely not, and we take extreme precautions to ensure this. For example, the software does not automatically download updates, all updates must be manually downloaded via the portal. Additionally all searches are received via our secure webhook. A secure webhook is a mechanism that allows a program to receive real-time notifications (in our case to grab searches) from a dedicated server. Our webhook is secured via HTTPS and has strict access controls.
Does the program use a lot of bandwidth/internet?
No, the program utilizes very little resources. We're not doing any sort of aggressive scraping or other actions here. Watching a video in 1080p consumes around 12MB per minute, where it's estimated that 1 search would consume about 25MB total, giving you around ~400MB of usage a day from our program, or equal to about a 30 minute video. The program should not slow down your computer any noticeable amount as well.
Is there any risk of account bans?
No, since we're not using any of accounts to create any sort of fake accounts, reviews, or steal anyone's intellectual property there's no risk. With that being said, the practice of searching for any term on any search engine in an attempt to boost its ranking is technically “not allowed” but this is not applicable to your email or other accounts. This would fall under the Webmaster guidelines.
Will this change my ability to search?
No, since we're only doing a handful of searches a day to genuine websites this will not cause you to start receiving captchas, or any other problems.
